Posting a photo a day encourages me to do things i normally wouldn’t do, like get out of my car to take photos at on my way home at 2am when its -2ºF with wind chill. brrrr.

However, i enjoy it. its nice to have motivation to do something i love. sometimes you get so set in your routine that you forget why you do what you do. Remember, sometimes you should get out of the car, endure sub-freezing temperatures and experience life.

Don’t you just hate it when places have fences around them? just opens up some kind of inate curiosity that makes you want to know more…actually if you turn the corner to the left, the fence is wide open. but i liked this angle more.

Got a new lens today, the Canon EF-S 60mm f2.8 Macro! In addition to macro capabilities, this lens is a more than competent portrait lens. So expect to see a lot more photos taken with this lens.

todays photo is inside my bathroom sink.

if you’re curious how i took this photo, it involved me kneeling over my bathroom sink with a desk lamp illuminating where the drops fell, setting the camera to a really fast shutter speed and constantly shooting. the rest is luck.

Where’s the fire?
